I wind up having the most amazing conversations about foster care and God in the most unusual places - like at a birthday party yesterday at Chuck E. Cheese and with a bunch of employees and shoppers at Boot Barn. We didn't buy any boots but I don't think that's why God has us go to that store at that time - we were able to talk about "our" miracle man's testimony and it was awesome!!
Then last night at church, we talked to our pastor a couple different times (he is doing a special baby dedication for us next week) and some friends - esp. one who hadn't met "our" precious angel yet. Baby even held up his wee little hand during the perfect moment in worship at a phrase that totally fit his situation - only God :)
This Wednesday it will be one month that he's been with us and he is THRIVING!!!! He doesn't even look like the same tiny frail medically fragile baby that we welcomed to our home in February and I'm so grateful.
