Today was Baby's first therapy session and he did AWESOME!!!! His Occupational Therapist came out and worked with him for about 35 minutes before he really wanted his momma and fell fast asleep!! He definitely earned that nap.
I received a phone call from my social worker asking me to speak (again) at the Foster Parents Graduation tonight. I said yes.
The kids got home early, did homework, chores, etc...Steve came home, he and Shane worked on a model car together, Shelby's friend came over, we all ate dinner together then I left to go do the presentation with Baby.
We sat down in the back of the room while the lady from WIC talked. Baby stared at my social worker's plate of food - super funny since a. it was like he was glaring at the food, saying give me some. She even apologized to him for not giving him any! and b. he can barely see but he certainly was giving stink eye to the plate of goodies!! Shortly after that, when the room was suddenly quiet, he did the loudest fart ever!!! People all thought it was the SW next to me. Super cute. :) My talk went well. I try to mix it up every time so I'm not a broken record.
I arrived home, during my absence, respite took the girls to the dance, the boys are playing a computer game and I made my final phone call to my Grandma. Usually Thursdays are my days "off" from the hour round trip to visit her since she has her helpers come in the morning to take her to her hair/nail appt and w/my kids getting out of school early, by the time she got back and what time I'd have to leave, we're talking a 30-60 minute visit. Today, however, she cancelled her hair appt since she wasn't feeling well. She insisted she was fine when I talked to her multiple times today but said she just wasn't feeling 100% earlier.
