Phew - hours are disappearing way too fast.
Yesterday while respite stayed w/Shelby and Baby, I went to Nanny's house, made calls, worked on meds, played scrabble, etc. then I was off and running: library, kinko's to make copies of all the paperwork I've accumulated on Baby, CVS to buy a flashdrive for the 900+ pictures I've taken of the gorgeous boy, two stores, Goodwill, and more. I got home (Baby was the "perfect" baby according to Theresa!!), and when he took his next nap, I was super productive - trying to get ready for the kid's birthday party tomorrow and more so - for the sleepover of Baby's new family. Yesterday Shelby was being nasty and I was doing ok, not great, about her issues. I probably SHOULD have cancelled her friend's sleepover but I am so glad I didn't - her friend Victoria - was amazing and Shelby was happy and occupied all night allowing me to get a zillion more things done until I was exhausted but Baby wasn't!!! He is turning into quite the night owl.
Highlights of day: Shane put Baby on his shoulders and introduced him to the wonderful world of sprinklers (at our next door neighbors house) and later, Baby sat on Shelby's lap (w/help of course) and when she gave him kisses, he gave her the BIGGEST smiles :)
Today/Saturday - Shelby's friend is still here, I have to pick up the pizza cakes (can't WAIT to see them!!!), Kona has another vet appt, we have church and tons more cleaning/organizing to do.
Super excited about everything happening but phew - it's a lot of work!!!!! :)
